Laila Charani, the fifth wife of billionaire businessman, Ned Nwoko, has tendered a public apology to him.
Her apology comes about 9 months after they went their separate ways.
In a post shared on her Instagram page on Sunday morning Laila hinted that the cause of their fallout was because she “listened too much to outsiders.”
Laila Charani said: “This is to my entire Ned Nwoko family.I have realised that I made mistakes.they were not intentional. I listened too much to outsiders and I have decided to apologize to my husband and other members of the family. I want peace and progress in the family.”
In November last year, Laila announced that she and Ned had gone their separate ways.
A month later, Mr. Nwoko released a statement in which he said that their marriage crashed after Laila underwent plastic surgery, spent money she was given for their kids’ summer holiday in London on herself, and also had a physical meeting with a “strange man” who she met on the internet, in a hotel in London.
Laila had cleared all posts in her Instagram account save the apology she posted on Sunday morning.
The development made some of her fans believe that if she cleaned out her IG account and suddenly sent just that post apologising to her ex-husband, chances are that the account has been hacked.
Others have given her the benefit of the doubt and believe she posted the apology willingly after actually realising her mistake.
