The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced that it has lifted the ban placed on Emirate Airlines.
Emirates was suspended by Nigerian government 10 months ago following disagreements over the covid-19 travel requirements on Nigerian passengers.
Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika gave the update. He said that Nigeria acted based on the airline’s removal of some of its travel conditions for Nigerians.
According to Sirika, “Today, we received communication from Emirate Airlines removing some of the conditions for travelling for which we had concerns.
“Having done that, it is necessary to lift the ban on Emirate Airlines.
“This subsequent lifting of the ban is a product of lengthy negotiations between us and them,” he said
