Nigeria has lost an eminent legal luminary and a judge in the Oyo State Judiciary, Justice Adegboye Gbolagunte.
A statement yesterday by his eldest son, Oladiran, said Justice Gbolagunte died on Monday, June 24.
The statement said Justice Gbolagunte, who until his death served in the Oyo State High Court, passed on during a brief illness in a hospital in Ibadan.
Oladiran said Justice Gbolagunte, who was born on December 10, 1959, is survived by his wife, Wuraola; 2 sons, Oladiran, a digital technologist with specialisation in Network Communications; Oladotun, also a lawyer; a daughter, Oladoyin who is equally a lawyer and an accountant; and four grandchildren.
Funeral service will be announced soon by the family.
