Nigerian celebrities have reacted to the arrest of Naira Marley’s associate, Sam Larry.
Sam Larry was picked up yesterday after returning to the country.
This was confirmed yesterday night by Lagos Police PRO Ben Hundeyin.
According to the policeman, Sam Larry is in custody and ‘assisting’ them in investigating Mohbad’s death.
Sam Larry’s return to Nigeria was also captured on video, he was seen being escorted by policemen upon his arrival.
Larry’s arrival in Nigeria sparked intriguing reactions from Nigerian celebrities and fans, some sought clarification on if he was arrested by the police or not.
Actress Iyabo Ojo, who’s actively involved in Mohbad’s case, anticipated the police’s “super story,” suggesting she’s skeptical about receiving a satisfactory response to their call for justice.
K-solo, Chike, and others voiced their dissatisfaction with the police spokesperson’s choice of words when he mentioned that “Sam Larry returned to the country to assist with the investigation.”
