The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi on Friday, visited the Olu of Warri, His Majesty, OGIAME Atuwatse III at his Palace in the ancient town of Warri.

The former Governor of Anambra State seized the occasion of the first anniversary of the coronation of the monarch to pay him the courtesy visit.

Activities marking the Olu of Warri’s anniversary celebration continue at Ode-Itsekiri, the ancestral home of the Itsekiris, with cultural display and homage paid by Itsekiri sons and daughters home and abroad.

The week-long programme is expected to be rounded off on Sunday with a thanksgiving service at the Palace Church in Warri.
