Following the unbearable cost of petrol as a result of the subsidy removal, Nigerians have devised an alternative source of powering their generating sets.
A social media user shared a video showing a generator running on gas instead of petrol.
Since petrol sells for over N500 a litre, some people have reconfigured their generators to work with gas which is cheaper than fuel.
The video shows the generator perfectly running on gas.
The man in the video said that they were able to use N2k worth of gas to provide uninterrupted power for about 12 hours.
