The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu was all smiles today as he reunited with some members of his family who came to witness proceedings at his resumed hearing.
The meeting which held at the resumed court sitting however, saw the Biafran agitator in the same old Fendi outfit that the trial judge had asked the DSS to replace ahead of Wednesday’s sitting.
Nonetheless, the activist was able to reunite with his family in court and he was spotted smiling happily as they exchanged pleasantries before the hearing began.
His lead counsel, Mike Ozekhome (SAN), lamented that his client was fast losing his sight after the Department of State Services seized his eyeglasses twice.
At the end of today’s trial, Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court, Abuja, adjourned the case to the 8th of April, 2022.
