There was tension and drama in court today as the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu clashed with one of the Department of State Services (DSS) operatives.
Reports say that the fracas started when the DSS refused to allow some of Nnamdi Kanu’s legal representatives access into the court.
An obviously angry Kanu protested the refusal before other security operatives intervened to calm nerves.

The Department of State Services operatives brought the IPOB leader to the court at abut 09:52am on Wednesday.
Reporters, lawyers and observers have been barred from covering any of the court proceedings at the Federal High Court, Abuja.
Some journalists however, made an early appearance by 6:00am but were denied entry into the courtroom by the security agents.
All reporters from the print and electronic media were turned back by hooded security operatives from the DSS and other security agents who barricade all routs leading to the court.
