The NUJ (Nigeria Union of Journalists) has appealed to the federal government not to engage the services of Chinese Doctors in fighting coronavirus disease in the country.
Speaking on behalf of the union, the NUJ President Chris Isiguzo said that the union finds it inconceivable that the federal government would consider inviting Chinese doctors.
According to him, Nigerian doctors are doing remarkably well in combatting the disease. He added that they reject a situation where Nigerians will be used as guinea pigs.
The union would also not want to witness the scenario that played out in Italy where hundreds of covid-19 patients died daily after the government invited Chinese doctors.
NIJ’s statement:
“We caution that it will be counter productive to bring in Chinese doctors, We reject a situation where Nigerians will be used as guinea pigs.
“Thus, it is pertinent to plead with the federal government to stop the medical team from coming to Nigeria because of the Italian example where that was an inexplicable spike in covid-19 related deaths when the Chinese doctors arrived the country.”
The NUJ also advised the federal government to investigate the allegation that covid-19 deaths are related to radiations from the 5G communications network.
In the words of Isiguzo,
“The federal should as a matter of urgent concern investigate the allegation that what is happening today is associated with the 5G communication network as Nigerians are becoming agitated.
“We urge the federal government to to be more proactive in dealing with these emerging issues because any mistake will be catastrophic.
Expressing similar concerns, as he is no less worried about an imminent disaster Femi Fani-Kayode cautioned the president in a tweet . t
His message went viral but got deleted by Twitter because it failed their safety guidelines.
Femi Fani-Kayode to the President:
“Do NOT allow 5G in Nigeria & if you have already done so, burn it.
“Do NOT accept face masks and other accessories from the Chinese to help prevent coronavirus.
“Do NOT accept help from Chinese doctors.
“Do NOT accept any anti-Coronavirus vaccines from ANYONE.”
There appear to be outrage over the dangers of the radiation from the masts across the world. The communications equipment are being brought down and burnt even in China.
