The Oba of Benin, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare II has welcomed a set of quadruplets with his 5th wife, Queen (Oloi) Esosa Ewuare II.
His Royal Majesty announced the arrival of the new borns on Friday in his palace when he received the national leadership of old students of Immaculate Conception College (ICC), Benin City.
The monarch disclosed that the sexes of the new born quadruplets who are yet to be named are 3 boys and 1 girl.
He thanked God and his ancestors for the bundles of of joy and appreciated those who came to rejoice with him.
The presiding Priest of the Holy Aruosa Church, Ohen-Osa Igbinoghodua Edebiri, offered prayers to God for wisdom and guidances for the new babies.
In his reaction, the ICC President, John Isa-Omoregie rejoiced with the monarch on the safe arrival of the quadruplets and thanked the Oba for his support towards the development of their alma mater.
The Oba welcomed his infant prince in May 2020. The prince was the first since he ascended the throne of his forebears as the 40th Oba of Benin.
The prince was born by Her Royal Highness, Queen (Oloi) Iyayota Ewuare II.
