Peter Obi has hailed the Labour Party supporters popularly called ‘Obideints as they defied the heavy rain in Port Harcourt and the scorching sun in Auchi (Edo State), Makurdi (Benue State) and Afikpo (Ebonyi State) to embark on a scheduled 2 million man match.

As usual, the supporters were mostly who marched in their numbers from the popular Oil Mill Market to the Isaac Boro Park in Port Harcourt.

The march is part of the support for the Obi/Datti 2023 presidential ticket.

The Labour Party candidate who is currently out of the country, has been watching the proceedings.

He promised the youths that their “labours will never be in vain.”

Taking to his Twitter page, Peter Obi wrote: We are watching as Port Harcourt, Auchi, Makurdi and Afikpo move OBIdiently today, under the sun and in the rain. Constitutional rights to peaceful assembly are protected and must be respected by all. Our labours will never be in vain. I appreciate you all. – PO”
