The ‘Obidient’ Movement has made a strategic announcement ahead of the kickoff of the 2023 general elections..

The movement on Wednesday announced the adoption of governorship and state assembly candidates across the country in the March 2023 elections.

The global coalition of citizens supporting the candidacy of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, made the announcement during a press conference in Abuja.

Obi’s Special Adviser (Technology and Strategic Alliances), Valentine Ozigbo, revealed that the Obidients would be watching the conduct of candidates during the presidential election and would be openly declaring support for those who work for a New Nigeria.

He said, “Obidients Movement, the national citizen-led and non-partisan political movement of Nigerians supporting Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, is pleased to announce that it will carefully consider and extensively consult with stakeholders across the country to announce the adopted governorship and state assembly candidates in states, particularly, where the Labour Party doesn’t have candidates.
