Not too many people knew that popular Nigerian comedian and On Air Personality, Okey Bakassi has a full grown daughter who turned 18 over the weekend.
Chidera, Okey’s daughter spinned the emotional side of the accomplished father as he could not help but announce her new age in the public domain.
Chidera also graduated from college recently, giving her dad 2 major reasons to celebrate.
In his post on his social media handles, Okey Bakassi appears to scream his excitement. According to him:
“Daddy’s little girl of yesterday is legally an adult. Happy 18th birthday my darling daughter, Chidera. You came into our family and opened a new beautiful chapter. I am proud of the intelligent, focused, hardworking, beautiful lady you’ve grown into. May God continue to pave your pathways with success. I love you Dereee ! ❤🎂”
Chidera is born to Okechukwu Anthony Onyegbule aka @Okey_Bakassi and his wife Ezinne 18 years ago.
The couple have been together for 32 years and celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary on the 2nd of September 2019.
Okey Bakassi also took to social media on the occasion of that anniversary to take his fans down memory lane and a glimpse of who his wife is.

“My darling girlfriend of 31 years, on the 1st of September 2001, we, in the presence of God, family and friends became husband and wife.
“Wow ! It is our 18th anniversary … it has been loads of blessings and divine favours… because I found a good woman.
“My darling Zizi, thanks for saying yes to an engineer turned comedian living in a boy’s quarters in Festac. I promised we’ll make it and God answered… 18 years gone and forever more to come.
“I still love you like that day in that uncompleted building in PH GRA. ❤.”
