An old tweet of Chimaroke Nnamani boasting that he cannot be defeated in Enugu politics has resurfaced on social media.
This comes after he lost in Saturday’s election.
In the tweet, Chimaroke wrote “Be serious and think! Who will beat me in an election in Enugu?”
The Enugu East Senator who is also a former Governor of the state, contested on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party.
He however, lost his senatorial seat to Kelvin Chukwu of Labour Party who was drafted three weeks ago after the gruesome murder of his older brother, Oyibo Chukwu.
Oyibo was the initial candidate of Labour Party in the senatorial district.
The election had to be deferred for few days to allow the Labour Party conduct another primary electioneer Barrister Oyibo Chukwu’s replacement in line with the law.
His replacement was thereafter found in his younger brother, Kelvin.
