Ooni Staggers under the Aare Crown During Olojo Festival (video)

Africa’s foremost monarch, the of Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has sparked reactions as he staggered under the sacred Aare crown.

As the Yoruba custom demands, the Ooni was sent parading the ancient Ife town at the Olojo festival.



In the video, the monarch was seen staggering with the crown as he found it difficult to walk and was aided by royal guards, some of whom helped steady the crown.

The video generated reactions from netizens, with some claiming that the crown weighs about 50 kg.
