It is amazing how senior spokesmen and the media organisations of opposition political parties make Peter Obi their campaign topic daily.
Listening to Prince Malik Ado-Ibrahim, presidential candidate, of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), Kola Abiola of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), Prince Adewole Adebayo for Social Democratic Party (SDP) reveals a line up of young eminently qualified candidates by all standards.
They all have amazing manifestos for Nigeria. Had Obi not thrown in his cap, the youths would have explored one of them.
Labour Party was, prior to Peter Obi’s emergence, an obscure political party. Fortune smiles on it daily with negative narratives thrown at Obi. This also happened for Obama when volunteers, many of whom were unpaid, became his foot soldiers.
Calls for research on Obi’s trumped up negatives have made him and his party the prettiest brides on and off social media, across Nigerian ethnic groups and at the international space.
Nigeria’s youth who have been rendered redundant by a failed government especially with unemployed, ASUU strike and lack business startup capital have occupied themselves researching every negative ‘salvo’ thrown at Obi.
They almost alway thank the paid foot-soldiers of the opposition for spending time conjuring the damaging information most of which turn out fake and further strengthen their resolve to see him to victory.
Labour Party is the better for it. Had the new kid remained in the PDP, his ambition would have been swallowed by money politics.
After his painstaking researches as a SAN and most senior spokesman for APC’s Tinubu, Festus Keyamo is and has been more open with his campaigns for Peter Obi.
Dino Melaye also consistently expresses respect for the Labour Party flag bearer and the ‘tsunami’ his supporters have triggered.

Keyamo’s counterpart, Dino continues to drum up support for the same candidate but his conscience and providence also compel him to say the truth. My dear Melaye says: “Peter Obi is a Fantastic Nigerian, I have tremendous respect for him, forget social euphoria, this is not his time…”
In a response to a salvo thrown at the Labour Party flag bearer in a WhatsApp group, some wrote: “As for the social media euphoria, let’s wait and see.
“We’re also researching the narratives of these fiery party spokespersons. They’ve both been well paid for their jobs by their parties. Peter Obi’s campaign structure has not paid Dino and Keyamo but providence compels them to be his spokespersons.
“These 2 gentlemen have certainly been so well paid by their parties that 4 generations after may never suffer.
“Nigerian youths are researching every salvo like the negative threads here, salvos that only serve to strengthen their resolve. Nigerian youths are confirmed to be the smartest in the world, remember.
“Keep dishing them the negatives. They’ve been kept at home by marginalized ASUU so they have the time to research any narrative.“
