Former Abia State Governor ad serving Senator representing Abia North, Orji Uzor Kalu says he has no personal plans to be Nigeria’s next president but if given the opportunity, he will not reject it.
Kalu disclosed his ambition when he featured on Channels Television, #SundayPolitics He said that he is very capable of becoming Nigeria’s next president if it is the will of God.
According to him, “I am not having that kind of ambition but if I am given, why not ? I can take it.”
Speaking about prophesies from some clergymen Orji Kalu said that he is a Catholic and Catholics do not see visions.
“I am a Catholic. In the Catholic Church, we don’t see visions. Well, if visions are being seen, and people say this nd that, if it is the will of God that I will become president, why not ?
“I am very capable mentally and otherwise to do whatever Nigerian people want me to do but not through prophesy.
He also backed agitations for Igbo presidency in 2023 saying that it is the right thing to do.
“I believe if Nigerians and the Nigerian people want to be fair, a South East president from Igbo extraction will be the right thing to do.”
