Protesting youths of Ijaw Nation have declared spiritual warfare against the killers of their kinsman, 12-year-old Sylvester Oromoni.
They made incantations at the gate of the school, Dowen College, poured libations and demanded that the spirit of Sylvester arises and goes after those who took his life.
Clad in black t-shirts with portraits of Sylvester and Ijaw flags, they vowed to see justice served everyone culpable of the alleged murder as well as their sponsors.
They staged a protest on Thursday, in front of the school to express their grievance over what they described as the “corrupt judgement” that set free those fingered in the boy’s death.
The Lagos State government cleared 5 students and 5 members of staff of Dowen College of complicity in the alleged killing of young Oromoni.
They also declared that the 5 students did not belong to any cult group.
