Nigerians have reacted to the congratulatory message sent by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to his former boss and Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.
The vice president stated his former principal has shown passion, courage, patriotism and determination in the cause of nation-building for many decades.
Osinbajo also congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari, the National Working Committee (NWC) and party delegates for a successful convention and presidential primary.
According to the former presidential aspirant, Tinubu’s sterling contributions to Nigeria’s democracy and its progress made him stand out in the election.
The vice president called on all members of the party to unite behind Tinubu to ensure the victory of the party in the 2023 general election.
The development has stirred reactions as many applauded Osinbajo for congratulating his former political mentor on his victory in the APC Presidential primaries.
While others who are Tinubu’s supporters mocked the vice president for taking so long to greet the former Lagos governor.

There were insinuations that Tinubu displayed disappointment to Osinbajo during the primary election when he snubbed him, passed by him with his wife Oluremi to great President and Mrs Buhari.
It took the intervention of the Speaker of the House of Representatives for Tinubu to turn around and great Osinbajo.
