Osun: ‘Retrieving Our Stolen Mandate by Force’ – Davido

Popular singer, Davido has urged supporters of his uncle who is also the Osun State Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) governorship candidate, Ademola Adeleke not to give up considering that they are close to “retrieving their stolen mandate” in the ongoing Osun election.

Davido expressed optimism that his uncle will win the keenly contested race.

In a post shared on Twitter, the singer said his favorite relative is retrieving the stolen mandate with full force and light will come to Osun State

He urged supporters not to be discouraged by the heavy downpour, but stay at the collation centres adding that victory is close and they will dance in the rain.

He wrote: “It’s raining. We will dance in the rain! Don’t leave those collation centres! Victory is close!

The singer also expressed delight with voters at the Osun governorship election for rejecting money.

He shared footages in his Twitter account where voters were seen rejecting moves by politicians to buy their votes.

He wrote, “People rejecting money being offered to the left and right in the State today … GREAT TO SEE … there is still hope for Nigeria.”
