Pastor Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and notable Nollywood actresses today, mourn the death of Vera Omozuwa and Tina Ezekwe.
Vera is the 22-year-old 100 level student of Microbiology, University of Benin that was reported by this online news media to have been killed within the auditorium of a branch of the RCCG in Benin City.

The young lady had gone into the church to study when her assailants descended on her, raped her and brutalised her with a fire extinguisher.
In mourning the tragic death, Pastor Adeboye posted on his official Instagram page that:
“All I can do at this time is to pray for the family of Omozuwa and do everything possible working with relevant authorities to bring the perpetrators to book.
“I and members of my family condemn this act strongly and urge everyone to stay calm as we are already looking into the matter and cooperating with the police to establish the facts of the shocking situation. . . #justiceforuwa
In another development, this news media also reported the death of 16-year-old Tina Ezekwe who was killed by trigger-happy policemen in Lagos. The cops fired a bullet at her left thigh prompting passersby to rush her to a nearby hospital where she died.
Just like Pastor Adeboye, Nigerians in general and indeed notable Musicians and Nollywood actresses have condemned in very strong strong terms, the tragic murders. They also condemn violence across the world and against women and mourn the 2 young ladies. Among the actresses are Tiwa Savage, Genevieve Nnaji and Mercy Aigbe.
