Reports just received say that the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye has lost one of his sons, Pastor Dare Adeboye.
He is said to have died peacefully in his sleep without prior symptoms of illness. He was also never on any known medication.
Pastor Dare or Pastor D, as he is fondly called, was the Youth Provincial Pastor in Eket, Akwa Ibom State. He had presided over one of the RCCG branches in Abuja.
He is said to have officiated on Sunday and retired to his bed after the day’s service with a warning that he did not want to be disturbed.
His wife, Temiloluwa Adeboye noticed her husband’s unusual sleeping hours and could also not reach him on phone. She reportedly raised an alarm after which he was discovered dead.
Pastor Dare Adeboye was aged 42 and died 33 days to his 43rd birthday.
