The founder and General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor W F Kumuyi has spoken up about the decision of the Muhammadu Buhari-led government to ban Twitter indefinitely in Nigeria insisting on using the app personally.
The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, in a statement released on Friday by his media aide, Segun Adeyemi, announced that the Nigerian Government was placing a ban of Twitter.
It also directed all licences Telecommunications Companies to deactivate subscriber access to to the app.
The Microblogging website had deleted a hate message directed at indigenes of a section of the country by the President.

Reacting to the ban of the bird app, Pastor Kumuyi tweeted that his ministry would not stop tweeting as he has a global following and therefore his messages are targeted at the global audience via social media.
He added that the Church shares content from any location of their Churches scattered around the world.
According to Pastor Kumuyi, “In view of the Twitter ban in Nigeria, please note that the content shared on this handle is targeted at a global audience in more than 5 continents and over 100 nations and we share the content from any part of these locations.”
