Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo Strongly Disagrees with Pastor Chris Oyakhilome during Sunday service yesterday.
He rejects any links between covid-19, antiChrist and the 5G telecommunications network
Pastor Ashimolowo terms it a “foolish” conspiracy theory and cautioned Christian leaders against misleading their followers with such fake news.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome had preached that there is a spiritual link between the coronavirus, 5G network and the anti-Christ.
Oyahkilome advised his followers that current happenings in the world was a grand plan to instill a a new world order leading to a dictatorship.
According to him, the world order would allow for only one religion, one currency, one economy and one single government for the entire world.
Ashimolowo rejected the theory saying that Oyakhilome’s claims were utterly misleading, erroneous and had nothing to do with the anti-Christ.
He said conspiracy theories had in the past, linked Napoleon Bonaparte, Hitler and the likes to the anti-Christ.
Speaking further, Matthew Ashimolowo added that Dettol antiseptic mentions coronavirus as one of the viruses it could kill. The world is only witnessing a new strain of the virus that it should make efforts to find a cure for.
He added that Britain, America and similar world powers will not destroy their economies just to put a chip in the human body.
Ashimolowo ranted about being ashamed of pastors pulling up graphs, taking videos and patching them together to mislead the body of Christ. He insisted that he will not get involved in foolish theories.
Unfortunately, he took down the video of the sermon which he uploaded on Youtube through his twitter handle. This was after several vehement criticisms of his arguments.

Excerpts of Ashimolwo’s argument:
If coronavirus is caused by 5G, why is it in his village that does not have a 5G?
“It has always been the nature of Christian leaders to plant fear in their members whenever there was going to be a major world occurrence.
“The church should be more concerned about preparing their members for the Second Coming of the Lord instead of condemning a major technological breakthrough.
“It’s fake news to associate 5G to coronavirus,” Ashimolowo said.
