Pastor Who Wedded 4 Virgins at Once Claims He Was Inspired by the Bible (photos)

A Congolese pastor identified as Zagabe Chiluza caused a stare when he wedded four virgins at the same time in Eastern Congo.

The Pastor who is already married said he decided to marry four more because the Bible is not against polygamy.

According to him, “Jacob had many wives Leah and Rachel, then Bilha and Zilpa…four wives for one man.”  

He claimed that GOD’s grace was enormous on men like Jacob in spite of his marital status, so he is justified with his decision.

Pastor Chiluza said men from his church can marry more women provided they are virgins.

Speaking to Afrimax English, a television station that broadcast the wedding, Pastor Chiluza shared scriptures from the Bible to prove that polygamy is not sinful.

“I have one wife already and today I’m going to marry these four. They will join the first wife. Show me where in the Bible it is written that it is a sin to marry more than one wife ?” he asked

Zagabe Chiluza who claimed to have been ordained a pastor in 1986 said people’s opinion about him does not matter, so long as he leads the children of GOD in the right paths.

On their part, his congregation rejoiced with their leader during the wedding.

One of his lead pastors identified as Kalebe told newsmen that polygamy is allowed in their church.
