The ‘before’ photo picked by Church Gist and captioned “Throwback Thursday, Pastors Sam and Nike Adeyemi ,“ chronicles the journey through Nike’s eyes as well as some of Sam’s passions:
“Their love story dates back to almost 3 decades when Pastor Sam was a Pastor at Rhema Chapel, Lagos, same Church that the young Adenike (‘Spiro’) attended during her NYSC days.
“The picture of Pastor Sam Adeyemi and Adenike Adeyemi (nee Ogunmola) was taken in 1993 just before their wedding, though Pastor Nike can’t recall if it was a pre-wedding photo shoot.

Pastor Nike thanked God for her love journey with er beau. In a post monitored on her Instagram page, she also thanked God for the trip so far:

Meanwhile, Daystar Christian Centre posted its position on the reopening of churches with effect from the 9th of August.
The senior Pastors told dailypostng that:
“The leadership of Daystar Christian Centre has resolved NOT to open her worship centres for physical gathering.
“Daystar Christian Centre will continue to hold services online exclusively pending further review. We look forward to the resumption of physical services in a safe environment.
“We urge our members and friends to join us on all our online platforms for life-transforming services.”
