A controversial cleric identified as Goodheart Val Aloysius has advised Davido to pay his tithe out of the over N251 million donation he received from his friends last week.
In a post on his Facebook page, the cleric told the Davido Music Worldwide boss he must make the spiritual giving of tithe so that he can make heaven.
David Adeleke, also know as Davido had asked his friends and fans to donate a minimum of N1 million each for his birthday.
At the peak of the donations, the singer said in a video post on the eve of his birthday that he meant it as a joke, but was humbled by the response which way beyond his expectations.
It was thought that he wanted to use the donations to clear his new Rolls Royce at the port but he disclosed that he would give everything to charity across the country.
He constituted a 5-man committee to ensure the effective disbursement of the donation to orphanages.
Davidoe promised to make it an annual activity after adding N50 million of his personal donation.
Pastor Goodheart Val Aloysius, in his Facebook post wrote: “Brother Davido, if don’t pay tithe from that money given to you by your friends, I am afraid you won’t make heaven.”
In 2020, the pastor berated those who own 3 or more cars while their pastor treks around.
