All 13 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors were seen proudly dressed in Akwete fabrics as they met in Abia State today.
The fabric was restored to fame after the Governor of Anambra State, Prof Chukwuma Soludo announced that his only outfit as Governor will be the locally the locally made Akwete.
Soludo was however, elected under the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA)
One of the organisers of the Governors’ meeting announced that they planned that all the governors wear proudly indigenous fabric.
According to Sam Hart@hartngยท All 13 PDPGovernors are in Abia State for a meeting. Naturally, we arranged #MadeInAbia ensemble for them featuring our indigenous Akwete Fabric.
