The Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, on Saturday, met with former President Olusegun Obasanjo in Awka, the Anambra state capital.
Both leaders were in Anambra for the one-year anniversary of the state governor, Professor Charles Soludo.
In a post via his Twitter page, Obi shared photos of himself and Obasanjo. He expressed gratitude for the quiet time he had with the ex-president at the Anambra airport.
According to the LP flagbearer, they exchanged views on the state of play and the state of the nation.
He tweeted: “I am very grateful for the quiet time with the former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo at the Anambra airport yesterday. We exchanged views on the state of play and state of the nation”
