The Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has sent his condolences to Chioma and Davido over the death of their son, Ifeanyi David Adeleke.
News broke at about 11:00pm on Monday night that the little boy drowned in his father’s swimming pool in their Banana Island mansion.
Neither Davido nor Chioma or the Adeleke family has made any statement to confirm the tragic news but the internet has been agog with the reactions since Monday night.
Politicians, business moguls, monarchs and the clergy have however, sent their condolences to the bereaved family.
The Labour Party presidential was not left out as he prayed God to grant the family healing and strength to bear the loss.
Peter Obi said: “I send my sincere condolences to Davido and Chioma over the death of their son Ifeanyi. I cannot begin to imagine the pains they are going through at the moment. May God grant them healing, strength and comfort in this trying time. My thoughts and prayers are with the family,”Obi tweeted.
