Peter Obi Visits Redemption City (video)

"Gist"

The Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, on Friday night, attended the 70th annual convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) at the Redemption City.

A Catholic by faith, it was he first time that the former Governor of Anambra State was visiting the Redemption City.

The announcer, while welcoming Obi to the convention, said, “We welcome to the Redemption Camp for the first time Mr Peter Obi.”

The introduction of the presidential candidate was greeted with loud cheers from the audience at the convention.

Others welcomed and introduced are the Presiding Bishop of the Sword of the Spirit Ministries and President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Bishop Wale Oke; the National Superintendent of the Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria and National Treasurer of the PFN, Reverend Sam Aboyeji.

Also in attendance were the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Udom Emmanuel; and the Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, who was represented by his wife.

Peter Obi recently was, last week, at the Dunamis International Gospel Centre vigil in Abuja, on the 29th of July where equally got a standing ovation.

The entire congregation went agog after the wife of General Overseer Paul Enenche, Becky introduced him to the congregation.

Becky expressed excitement about having Obi in their auditorium
