The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi today, visited the controversial Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi accompanied by his running mate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed.
In the course of discussions, Obi said that turning Nigeria around will require 3 core banks in the country.
The LP presidential candidate visited Gumi at his residence in Kaduna with Datti Baba-Ahmed and some party chieftains.
In his speech, Obi stated that the Bank of Agriculture; Bank of Industry and Bank of Infrastructure will contribute to the growth of the country.
The former governor said the 3 banks will make funds easily accessible to SME startups and individuals.
In his remarks, Gumi advised Obi not to let the Obidient movement end after the 2023 elections, urging him to continue to contribute to the development of the nation.
