A Nigerian man has skilfully hatched out an unusual way to propose to his girlfriend and get a “yes”.
The man connived with policemen to harass and bully him in the presence of his girlfriend.
They security operatives forced him to kneel down while his lady pleaded with them to be lenient with her lover.
Oblivious of what was going on, she kept pleading with the police with the ‘frightened lover’ behind her.
The latter then knelt behind her, brought out the engagement ring while her friends urged her to look behind.
As soon as she turned around, he popped the question and the rest is history.
The emotional event is said to have happened at Ilorin, the Kwara State capital
