Tension has gripped the Jeddo community in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State as a confrontation erupts between police operatives pursuing a suspected internet fraudster, commonly known as a “Yahoo boy,” and personnel of the Nigerian Air Force.

This led to a serious fight between the two sister security agencies as shown in a viral video on social media.

According to Daily Post, it was learnt that the policemen who were clad in mufti and without a police branded vehicle attempted the arrest of the suspected internet fraudster.

The suspected internet fraudster took the policemen for kidnappers and robbers as he abandoned his vehicle and ran to a checkpoint mounted by the Air Force personnel and alerted them of the development.

Promptly, the Air Force Personnel blocked the road and intercepted the policemen as they were towing the yahoo boy’s car and asked them (police) to identify themselves, which they did.

Not satisfied, the Air Force Personnel insisted that the boy would not be taken away, leading to a serious argument between both parties, which led to sporadic shootings in the area.

Some of the policemen sustained injuries until the Commander of the Nigerian Air Force showed up immediately to resolve the issue.

The injured policemen were sent to Air Force clinic for treatment.
