The Lagos State Police Command has been applauded for sharing biscuits and water to protesting workers in Lagos.
They were also seen leading the peaceful protest to the state’s seat of power in Alausa.
The scene was captured on Tuesday during the protest called by the NLC.
The protesters stormed the streets to express their grievances over the current economic hardship.
They are also protesting the government’s alleged failure to implement agreements reached between both parties on October 2, 2023, following the removal of the fuel subsidy.
The policemen were seen in a moving vehicle sharing water and biscuits as protesters chanted “Up Nigeria Police.”
Equally interesting is that there was not rush by the crowd to get the snacks.
