The head of the Catholic Church, the largest Christian congregation in the world, Pope Francis has advised religious sisters to fight back when they are maltreated or “reduced to a life of servitude” by male members of the Church.
In a video message he posted yesterday, 1st of February, the Pope Francis@Pontifex said:
“Let us #PrayTogether for religious sisters and consecrated women, thanking them for their mission and their courage; may they continue to find new responses to the challenges of our times. #PrayerIntention“
