News just received says America’s ace broadcaster and longtime CNN host, Larry King is dead.

A few weeks ago, Hetty Os Blog reported that the icon of TV interviews contracted covid19 and was being treated for the disease among other health complications.

Larry King became famous for interviewing celebrities and world newsmakers.

Larry held over 50,000 interviews spanning more than six decades.

He had the iconic sense of humour that kept his guests entertained through interviews. He hosted Larry King Live on CNN for 25 years.

CNN reports King’s son, Chance as confirming that his father died Saturday morning after battling covid19 among other ailments.

Among his many health challenges are type-2 diabetes, and prolonged prostrate cancer.

A media house that he founded, Ora Media announced on his verified Facebook page that, it is “With profound sadness, Ora Media announces the death of our co-founder, host and friend Larry King, who passed away this morning at age 87 at Cedars-Siani Medical Centre in Los-Angeles.

“For 63years and across the platforms of radio, television and digital media, Larry’s many thousands of interviews, awards and global acclaim stand as a testament to his unique and lasting talent as a broadcaster.”
