Popular Osun-based broadcaster with Fresh FM Osogbo, Taiwo Kekere Ekun, has passed on.
She d!ed in Monday, June 24 of a yet to be disclosed illness.
Kekere Ekun was known for her charismatic and eloquent presentation of newspaper reviews in Yoruba, which earned her recognition both within and outside Osun State.
The late broadcaster was a graduate of Mass Communication from the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree.
According to reports, she passed away in the early hours of Monday after a long battle with an undisclosed illness.
The Alumni of the Mass Communication department at Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, have taken to their various social media platforms to mourn her demise.
Also confirming the incident, Fresh FM Osogbo has posted a condolence message on their social media pages.
The station wrote, “It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that Fresh FM Osogbo announces the untimely passing of one of our esteemed staff members after a brief illness.
“Taiwo Kekereekun, passed away today, Monday June 24th, 2024. She left behind a legacy of dedication, professionalism, and camaraderie that will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of working with her.
“We find solace in the lasting memories of her kindness, hard work, and the joy she brought to mankind.”
