One of Nigeria’s popular Nollywood actors, Ambassador Rich Oganiru is dead.
Reports say he died on Tuesday, 10th August from a protracted illness that lasted months.
Barely 2 weeks ago, he was seen in a viral video on his hospital bed, begging for financial assistance.
The actor’s friend, D’Scare Franklin Official had taken to his social media pages to solicit for funds to help him foot his medical bills.
Oganiru was arrested in 2012 on allegations of murdering his millionaire wife.
His arrest followed a petition by the wife’s family that he poisoned her to acquire her wealth.
He consistently denied the allegation insisting he had no reason to kill her.
