Reports say she died of a prolonged battle with areas cancer.
One of Chima’s breasts was removed in 2020 to prevent the cancer from spreading to the rest of her body.
Sady, she gave up the ghost on Sunday.
A popular Nollywood Actress, Doris Chima, has died after a prolonged battled with cancer.
She was one of the foundation members of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) and former chairperson of the Lagos AGN chapter.
The incumbent chairman of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rising Ibe told newsmen that he received the news of Doris Chima’s death with shock.
He described her as a dedicated member and a good woman.
According to him, “She called me last week and pleaded due to ill health not to remove her from the verification exercise I embarked on to ascertain true members of the guile in Lagos.
“Yesterday morning, I got a call that she was dead. Though I am yet to visit the family but it is a great loss for us. I pray for the repose of her soul.”
