Controversial street artiste, Habeeb Okikiola aka Portable has announced that was not a prisoner especially since he was not given any uniform like an inmate.
He said this when he shared his experience in detention over the alleged assault of his aide,Manny Monie.
The Zazu crooner disclosed this in his yet-to-be-released single titled ‘Federal Government Liability’.
In a snippet of the song shared on his Instagram page, Portable bragged that he didn’t wear a prison uniform while at the correctional centre in Ilaro.
Recall that the Magistrate ordered that Portable be remanded at the correctional centre in Ilaro pending the perfection of his bail conditions after he was granted N800,000 bail on Monday.
Celebrating his freedom in his latest song, the self-proclaimed ‘Wahala musician’ stated that he is a child of grace, adding that he can never be disgraced.
“I am a child of Grace. Latest glory. From star to the eagle, come and see grace wey no dey disgrace. They carried me to prison but I didn’t wear their cloth. Leave me alone. I am not a prisoner,” he sang.
Portable is facing a three-count charge bothering on assault and theft of musical equipment.
The case has been adjourned to April 26, 2023.
