A heavily pregnant woman, a newly wed couple and a group of physically challenged people were today, sighted at the Labour Party (LP) solidarity rally in different parts of the country.

The supporters of the Peter Obi and Yusuf Datti were mostly youths who defied the rain and marched in their numbers in different parts of the country.

Saturday’s solidarity rally coincided with Nigeria’s 62nd Independence anniversary.

It would appear that notorious bandits are ready to drop their weapons as many were forced into the trade by poverty and deprivation.

There has so far been no incident of attack or boy explosion even in Kaduna and Zaria.

At today’s rally in one of the locations, newly wed man and his bride were seen holding hands and taking selfies with the Obidatti supporters as they took to the streets for the walk in Edo.

A heavily pregnant young woman joined the rally in the Ikeja area of Lagos.

A group of physically challenged also joined the solidarity march in Akwa Ibom, Bauchi States.
