The Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Digital/New Media, Tolu Ogunlesi has written a cryptic acknowledgment of the defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC), of Former PDP Chieftain, Femi Fani-Kayode.
Ogunlesi took to his Facebook page to describe Femi Fani-Kayode’s move as “Somebody has come and Joined the APC.
According to Ogunlesi, Tolu Ogunlesi,
“Today at the State House, Abuja:
“Somebody has come and joined the APC. And a large-hearted and magnanimous President received him. Because that’s the essential Buhari for you.” Cc. Femi Fani-Kayode
Earlier on Thursday, the former Minister of Aviation and hitherto sworn loyalist of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Femi Fani-Kayode has finally officially joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He was accompanied by the Chairman, Caretaker Committee of the APC and Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni.
He added that he was against anything that would cause the disintegration of the country and revealed he was instrumental to the defection of three PDP Governors to the APC.
According to him, the Governors he influenced were Dave Umahi of Ebony State, Ben Ayade of Cross River State and Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State.
