Nyesom Wike, Governor of Rivers State has revealed the party and candidate G-5 govenors agreed to support during the 27th February presidential election.
He made the revelation while speaking on Thursday at the commissioning of Igwuruta internal roads in the Ikwerre Local Government Area (LGA) of Rivers State admitted that the G-5 Governors did not work for the PDP and its candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
He said the G-5/integrity group agreed among themselves that power must return to the south and they did it which he is proud to say.
The G-5 Governors include: Nyesom Wike (Rivers), Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Okezie Ikepazu (Abia), Samuel Ortom (Benue), and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu).
But speaking on Thursday at the project commissioning in Rivers State, Governor Wike revealed that the G5 Governors agreed to work for both the Labour Party and the All Progressives Congress (APC) which both have southern presidential candidates in the persons of Peter Obi and Bola Tinubu respectively.
Wike disclosed they agreed that in their respective states that if APC comes first, Labour Party must come second and if Labour Party comes first, APC must come second.
