Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Welcome their Newborn Daughter

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Megahn Markle have welcomed their second child, a newborn daughter.

For those who predicted the little princess’s names, they were absolutely right since the newest member of the British royal family is named Lillbet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.

‘Lili’ for short is a kind of pretty name derived from Lilibet.

The royal coupe have therefore paid tribute to both Queen Elizabeth II and late Princess Diana with the child’s name since the Lilibet is the nickname of the Queen’s family.

A statement by the Sussexes’ press secretary announced the arrival of Lili.

“It is with great joy that Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, welcome their daughter, Lilibet ‘Lili Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, to the world.

“Lili was born on Friday, June 4 at 11:40am in the trusted care of the doctors and staff at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, CA.”
