Legal luminary and human rights activist, Femi Falana has declared that Nigeria has had enough of health tourism especially among public office holders.

He added that everyone must be treated within Nigera.

The Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) made this known on Thursday at the first anniversary of the late Mohammed Fawehinmi Lecture in Lagos.

While commending the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo for undergoing a knee surgery at a hospital in Lagos, Falana said that all public office holders with any health challenge must be treated in Nigeria.

In his words, “Anybody who holds public office must be treated in Nigeria for any health challenge.

Public office holders must die here. Enough of health tourism.”

Speaking on the 2023 elections, Falana charged citizens to question presidential candidates on the nation’s problems.

According to Falana, he is unbothered about the political party anyone belongs but people should reject the high living conditions.

FHe said: “I don’t care which party you belong to; what is important is that people should ask questions and reject the high living conditions.”
