A video has emerged of pupils chanting the Nigeria National Anthem in a flooded school for orphans and the less privileged located in Lagos.

The pupils of Mawumadoka Orphanage home were video-taped standing in the murky flood, dressed in their school uniforms as they carried on their school activities.

The footage sparked outrage with members of the public lamenting that the flood is probably gem-infested and likely to cause skin disease or other water-borne diseases.

Reports say that the home/school located beside CCC Oko-Agbon 2, Oko-Agbon Water Front, Iwaya Road, Yaba, is designated for indigent and homeless children.
