South African President, Cyril Ramaphoza was horrified and in obvious panic on Tuesday when he discovered that his iPad was stolen in full public glare.
He was about to give a public speech at an even in Cape Town when he suddenly discovered the iPad he had in his hand suddenly.
Reports say the President was about to make an announcement that the National Ports Authority has become an independent subsidiary of Transnet.
After being introduced and invited to the podium to give his by his spokesman, Tyrone Seale, Ramaphosa looked around him for his gadget but could not find it.
His presentation was delayed as he made a public announcement that he had his iPad and suddenly it vanished. The speech he was about to make was also in the missing devise.
He then complained to Seale that, “I am waiting for my iPad. Somebody stole my iPad.
“Somebody decided they want to dispossess me of my iPad, so I want that. Can I have my iPad please ? They stole it.
The horrified President announced again that, “I had my iPad.”
Looking at Seale, he asked, “Do you know where they took my iPad ?
“This is the problem of always handing your gadgets to other people. It is always best that I should keep all these things with me all the time.
“I had my iPad. I had it in my hand. It’s gone. I’ve lost it, it seems”
Still looking panicked, disoriented and unable to find his bearing, government officials including Seale walked up Ramaphosa and urged to take a seat and calm down while they try to locate it.
