The All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council has said that an Arise TV cameraman was caught spying on presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, at a Lagos event.
The APC-PCC’s Director of Media and Publicity, Bayo Onanuga stated tweeted that the cameraman was secretly live-streaming Tinubu without official clearance.
Onanuga said the journalist was therefore sent out from the event immediately as he is suspected to be on an espionage mission.
Recall that Tinubu had a meeting with business leaders in Lagos on Friday.
According to Bayo onanuga, “Arise TV cameraman, clandestinely streamed live Asíwájú Bola Tinubu’s event in Lagos today. He was not authorized by anyone. He was clearly on espionage but was busted and sent out. Is journalism by stealth part of the practice by Arise News?”
