Reactions have greeted the video of the Kogi State Governor-elect, Usman Ododo as knelt down and bowed in apparent total submission to present his Certificate of Return to Governor Yahaya Bello.

The ceremony is said to have taken place at the INEC office in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital on Friday.

Ododo collected his certificate of return alongside his running mate, Joel Salifu.

The certificate of return was presented by the State Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Gabriel Longpet.

In attendance were Governor Bello, some chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a mammoth crowd of party supporters.

Shortly after receiving his certificate, Ododo went before Governor Bello, knelt and bowed humbly to present it to him.

@That Naija Guy: Absolutely disgraceful! Yahaya Bello’s reign in Kogi is nothing but a farce, with Ododo. This isn’t leadership; it’s a mockery of democracy. Kogi is being strangled by their grip, heading towards unprecedented misery.

It’s a state in chains, crying out for real change!
